Bring a Friend Sunday & Pig Roast

Welcome to Paradise in Oak Forest!! June 28 was designated as "Bring a Friend Sunday." Guests and friends were invited to attend a worship service and then stay for the Hawaiian Pig Roast!! |

| Early Sunday morning, before the first worship service, the crew was out -- setting up tables, establishing the mood and theme for the day, and making sure the roaster was fired up!! It takes a while to cook a pig!! | ||

The weather was with us -- bright, sunny, windy!! Not too hot, not too cold!! No bugs!! And tents to provide shade. |

More tables had to be set up to accomodate the crowds!! That's a good thing!! |

| Allison, thanks for tending to those hot dogs!! Does this mean we ate all parts of the pig??? (YUCK!!) | ||
All good things must come to an end. Here, the parts of the pig we didn't eat are prepared for disposal. Thanks so much to ALL who worked so hard --from set up to clean up!! Thanks to all who brought their favorite potluck dishes. |
