LCR Womens Groups

Both of the Womens' Study groups have finished for this year. If you'd like to become a part of one of our Women's groups contact the church office. Both groups start up again in September. Join the Women of LCR as we explore our faith, learn about the Bible, share in fellowship including food, friends, and conversation. Pastor Tony leads each group in a Study. This past year, both groups learned about women of the Bible.

Sarah Circle -- Meetings are the first Thursday of each month at 9:30 AM
Women's Study 4S Group -- Meetings are the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM

Are you wondering what goes on at the women's groups? Want to come, but you're unsure??
In each group, one or two women act as hostess, providing the treats for the meeting. So -- there is food!! There is also FOOD FOR THOUGHT!! Pastor Tony leads each group in a bible study -- a chance to broaden knowledge about the Holy Book, about our faith. There is time for talking, sharing, and praying together. Time to make new friends and reconnect with old friends!! Won't you consider coming to one of the women's groups??

Don't miss the next Ladies Night Out . Bring your favorite project to work on!! Come on out just to socialize or bring a project!! Come when you want, stay as long as you want!! The third Friday of each month -- 6-10 PM.

Ladies Breakfast group -- It's NOT a group!! It is the women from LCR who can show up for an occasional breakfast gathering!! Breakfast gatherings are usually the third Thursday of the month!!

Sarah Circle is the longest running of the women's groups. The women of Sarah Circle meet on the first Thursday of the month at 9:30 AM. Pastor Tony leads the bible study and discussion. Refreshments, prayer, and conversation are important parts of the Circle gatherings.

Pastor Tony leads the discussion at a recent meeting of the Sarah Circle. The groups holds the study first, and then shares in goodies (food) provided by the hostess of the month.

The 4S group meets in on the first Thursday of the month at 7:00 PM. The group's name represents Study, Snacks, Service, and Socializing. The ladies of this group indulge in snacking, praying, and sharing with each other while Pastor Tony leads the study.

Ladies Night Out is held on the 3rd Friday of each month. Doors open at 5:00 PM but you can come at any time. This is time to gather with friends to work on a craft, scrapbooking, knitting, crocheting, quilting....a project you need time to complete and space to spread out while you work. Bring a snack to share. Come for fun. If you don't have a project...come to eat and chat!!
