Taina L. Collins-Monroe - Ministry of Capital / Finance

As the Minister of Capital and Finance, I oversee the church’s financial stewardship, develop annual budgets, and support the Church Council in making thoughtful, mission‑focused decisions. My role centers on ensuring that our resources are used responsibly and in ways that strengthen and sustain the ministry of our congregation.

My Lutheran journey began early - baptized at Ebenezer Lutheran Church at age four and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church (Missouri Synod) at age twelve. I served on the Ashburn Lutheran Church Council from 2003 to 2015 and have been an active member of Lutheran Church of the Resurrection since 2016, including continued service on the Church Council.

I am blessed to share life with my husband, Jackie - we were married on June 6, 2026 - and our two sons, Wayne and Dariontez. Our family also includes Blondie, our rescue dog who joined us two and a half years ago and has been a joyful part of our home ever since.

I look forward to continuing to serve the Lord faithfully and to remain an engaged, supportive presence within our church community.​
