Teachers/Assistant Director/Director:
Teachers: Prepare lessons, activities and teach Monday through Friday* 8:45a – 11:45a
Assistant Director: Teach and assume the duties of Director should the Director be absent
Director: Manage staff, curriculum, day to day operations, communications as well as teach
Salary: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour to start based on qualifications/experience

Our Preschool’s faith based curriculum teaches children to learn and play together, strengthens language and computer skills, develops free expression, increases their sense of independence and improves physical coordination. It provides each child with a strong foundation to ensure future success as well as teaching them that they are treasured children of God. We are licensed by the State of Illinois – D.C.F.S.
Job Responsibilities:

Lead the children in learning and playing together in a nurturing, faith-based environment.

Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards.

Help to maintain a fun and interactive classroom that is clean and organized.

Attend all staff training/CE sessions, meetings and programs sponsored by Resurrection preschool, as required.

Help with snack preparation and distribution to children. Leading grace, modeling and encouraging table manners at snack time.

Perform other duties as requested by Lead Teacher, Preschool Director or Preschool Board of Directors.
Job Requirements:

Experience working in a licensed childcare or early childhood education facility

Must be at least 18 years of age with High School diploma or equivalent

Coursework or degree in early childhood education/child development or a CDA
-
The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience

Meet or exceed the DCFS qualifications respective position

Flexibility with scheduled work days which are based on enrollment*
