Shirley Harm- Ministry of Proclamation

Hi, I'm Shirley and I am the Minister of Proclamation or otherwise known as Worship and Music. I wanted to take over this position, as a few years ago I heard from the Holy Spirit. I was baptized into the Lutheran faith at 4 weeks old and grow up in the church. I admit I never understood any of my previous Pastor's sermons and often my mind would wonder. To me they were dull and boring. Then the Holy Spirit told me, "If you think you can do better, go head and try." So, I did! I don't know if they are any better than my previous Pastor's, only the ones listening can make that call. The one thing I do know is that I enjoy doing it and learn more than ever before. 

 

I live in Tinley Park and my great niece, Skye and great nephew, Miles are my pride and joy and I love when they attend church with me and help me usher.

 

Currently I have one dog, a Great Pyrenees named Kennedy but miss my other fur babies, Peaches, Snickers, Rylee, Sophia, Lady and Kellie that are waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge and are being taken great care of by Jesus. 

 

I still work as a Bookkeeper for a Brown's Chicken & Pasta and that keeps my mind active. ​​
